This drug-free breathable, wicking, 4-way stretch fabric makes the mask very comfortable for your horse while schooling, competing, whilst in a stable, turned out in a paddock or travelling. They are legal to use BS but not BD or BE Dressage & XC.  All the masks have velcro. 

Real-World Experience With the Fenwick Mask

I’ve been supplying the Fenwick Liquid Titanium® Mask for over four years now and I have hired and sold hundreds through Equestrian Hire’s two-week home trial system.

Because customers can return the mask if it doesn’t suit their horse, this gives me genuine real-world feedback — not just reviews from one-off purchases.

Around 90% of customers choose to keep the mask after trial, which suggests that for many horses it provides a noticeable calming benefit.

That said, it doesn’t work for every horse. Some show little or no difference, and that’s exactly why I offer the home trial — so owners can assess it honestly, in their own environment.

If a mask has been worn it is not new & it is sold on as ex hired.

How the hire works - Deposit £96 without ears, £105 with ears & the sound reduced ears £129.

You pay the full price of the mask in advance which includes delivery via Royal Mail 24 hours tracked. If you want to return it after 14 days, it has to be sent back on 15th day (exc Sunday) or an extra week’s fee will be charged.  Once I have received it back, I would refund you less the hire fee of £28.  Subject to my terms of hiring. There is a guaranteed next day delivery (business day) option at checkout.  I don't sell xs with sound reducing ears but I can order one.

I bought a Fenwick Calming Mask for my sharp young horse who was coming off 2 months box rest, after trying 10 different calming supplements which were a complete waste of money as none of them worked on him. This was a last ditch attempt to get him to relax more and focus on me rather on an imaginary ghoul in the hedge. I couldn’t believe how well it worked so here they are. Like quite a lot of innovative equestrian products, it is horses for courses but I get less than 10% returned from hire!

The current stock is black both with and without ears are velcro, as I find these more adjustable.

How to measure; there are 3 measurements when sizing a mask for your horse or pony.

The length from behind the poll to the centre of the face an inch below the raised cheekbone. This is the most important measurement so if you are unsure go by this measurement.

The distance between the eyes, measure mid eye.

The circumference toward the bottom of the cheek bone (depending upon your horse's conformation)

The sizing chart is in the photos. If your horse/pony is in between sizes when you measure, then size up not down as the Fenwick Mask mustn't be tight.
